All work related injuries and illnesses are preventable. Our goal is zero harm. All escapes of hazardous materials can be prevented, and our goal is zero incidents. All employees have a right to expect a healthy and safe place to work. Everyone should be involved in the Health and Safety improvement process. The acceptance of individual responsibility for Health and Safety is a condition of employment. The majority of accidents and incidents can be prevented by management action. Line managers are accountable for leading continuous improvement in Health and Safety performance to defined goals. Information on Health and Safety performance will be made available to everyone. Good Health and Safety performance will be recognised. Contractor Health and Safety performance will be managed by them to at least the same standard as our own. Everyone has a personal responsibility for their own safety and health, for others in their workplace and for the environment in which they work. We will minimise waste and adhere to the highest standards for its safe disposal.
