SORBSIL® Desiccants are used widely for the removal of moisture from the surrounding environment. INEOS Silicas' SORBSIL® silica's are 100% amorphous, containing no crystalline material and have JECFA EEC, FDA and UN listings as "non-hazardous" and do not require any special handling or disposal.
SORBSIL® Desiccants are found in schools, hospitals, colleges and Universities where they are used in lab desiccators. Fine grade SORBSIL® desiccant is widely used for flower drying. In Hotels, bars and offices, desiccant is used in ashtrays to remove odour.
