Moisture damage is a widespread and costly problem in many industries. For example in the production and storage of manufactured goods ranging from delicate electronic products through to heavy engineering components. Removal of unwanted moisture in process atmospheres is also an area where control is required. SORBSIL® CHAMELEON® indicator silica gel can reduce or eliminate moisture damage by adsorbing moisture from the air, thereby reducing the relative humidity to safer, lower levels. The gel indicates its available activity by changing colour, as moisture adsorption proceeds, allowing users excellent control over their processes.
