Combination Treatment
Combination of LUCILITE or CHILL-GARDE silicas with LUCILITE TR provides removal of both haze forming protein and flavanoid polyphenols.

Chill haze is formed on cooling the beer and is a result of the interaction of proteins and flavanoid polyphenols to give large complexes. In certain types of export quality beer combination treatment with LUCILITE or CHILL-GARDE silicas and LUCILITE TR is recommended to assure quality across the supply chain.
